Arlington Association Summer Fete

As letting agents in Islington we are proud to be sponsoring the Arlington Association Summer Fete. This year the event will take place on 7th September from 1:30 - 5:30pm and will be a major fundraiser for the Arlington Conservation area in Islington, North London. For local residents, or anyone who appreciates a lovely London event, it's one for the late summer diary.

Arlington Square

The fete takes place on Arlington Square, which is officially London's Best Small Public Square, as named by the London Gardens Society. This oasis in the heart of the city has been lovingly maintained by volunteers to create a space that nurtures nature and which can be enjoyed by everyone who lives in, or visits, the area. Anyone who lives within the Association's boundaries is automatically a member and everyone is welcome at the event. The Arlington Association is keen to foster a true sense of community in London and Storeys, as letting agents in Islington are happy to support this.

The Arlington Association Summer Fete

Every community organisation like this requires funding and the summer fete has a key role to play in ensuring that the Arlington Association has the resources that it needs. Storeys is going to be sponsoring the event at £25 per each of our boards, contributing towards the overall fundraising total, as well as showing up to spend our own cash on the day. The fete will be celebrating Arlington Square, which is working towards building a better and safer neighbourhood and a vibrant community spirit, as well as greening the local area. The fete will include live music, as well as plenty to eat and drink. Activities will have a classic summer fete feel with cake stalls, a raffle, tombola, coconut shy and plenty to buy, from plants to children's toys.
